Today is February 5th 2009.
There is, of course, a little significance about the date.
Today is exactly three calendar months (just over thirteen weeks) since we had been required to jump through hoops and attend the appointment with Stafford Lightman.
According to Sue Jones this appointment was for a second endocrine opinion. We had expressed concern that if the undiagnosed problem was not endocrine in origin this option would be of limited use. We had also previously expressed concern that once Hari was discharged from the children's hospital as an inpatient at the end of January 2008, nobody would give this undiagnosed problem another thought.
Stafford Lightman told us that he would discuss the problem with colleagues and get back to us.
He also told our GP in his letter that this was his plan.
Three months on we have heard nothing at all.
Good job we weren't holding our breath in anticipation then!
