Has That Shredder Been Working Overtime?

We have been quietly trying to ascertain the facts about the content of the complaint file sent by UBHT/University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust to the Healthcare Commission.

We had good reason to be concerned about what had and hadn't been sent to the Healthcare Commission as part of this file. Concerns that were enhanced by the loss of medical records by the trust.

The complaints file should have contained everything relating to the complaint we made to UBHT/University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. That is, it should contain every item of correspondence that has been generated by the complaint being made.

We are now officially aware that it did not contain many items that should have been there.

So where are the missing items from the complaint file?

What have staff at UBHT/University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust done with the missing items?

Somebody MUST know where they are.

Are the missing items from the complaint file well hidden, waiting to miraculously reappear with the missing medical notes once the Healthcare Commission has finished its review and report?
Have the missing items from the complaint file been meticulously fed through a shredder along with the missing medical notes?

Or have the missing items from the complaint file been dumped, along with the missing medical notes, in a convenient builder's skip?

Time to 'fess up guys!

I have to say that it is most improper for anyone to comment on anything prior to the outcome of the HCC investigation and report!

So if it is improper for anyone to make comment will someone within The Trust Please simply pop down to JJB sports, go to the counter an buy a whistle!

It is not hard... you just pucker up and blow!

If so many documents are going missing - medical records - complaints files - correspondence - well you have to wonder if the Chief Exec's pay slip has gone walk about and even a P45.
