Only When We Laugh!

This morning the postman brought an ominous looking envelope that was clearly from somewhere within UBHT / University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

We really didn't want to open this envelope but we're glad we did because we haven't stopped laughing since!

The trust has actually written to us enclosing a survey form. They want to know how well they have handled our complaint and if we have been discriminated against as a result of complaining!!!!

We are going to enjoy completing this survey form but we suspect that they may not be too impressed with our responses!

You really couldn't make it up!

If they ask then they shouldn't be surprised at the reply!

Straight from the shoulder, tell it as it is, give it to them straight, leave nothing out.

Only one form Pat? ;)

Not if it is anything like a form mum received once. It was regards to the way we were treated by a London cabbie when I had to go for a brain scan (my head wouldn't fit into the old scanner at our hospital) We were sent an appointment to go to London ( I forget which hospital) as he wouldn't have a fair to bring back north of the river (we were heading south) He did what was known as "The oil gag" They make out that they have ran out of oil before being south of the thames.

To cut along story short, mum found out who to complain to, they sent an A4 form, she sent back form including 4 continuation sheets explaining what happened.

Tried to post this yesterday and got it round my neck!

Oh glory!
What a wonderful opportunity for you to express yourselves ;)

Make the most of it, and do be sure to keep a copy for future reference.

Best wishes

LAUGH.... well that dumb machine strikes again... and I hope that the report si correctly recorded in the Trust Annual Report... and even explained at the AGM!

... it is shocking how Data Collected to monitor matters seems to be altered, re defined and generally transmogrified prior to publication as required under National Targets. So I hope that the Data Controller ( also known as The Chief Executive ) plays nice with the Data and allows the truth yo out... even just a little bit!
